Full-Time Assistant Property Manager (Lawrence, KS)
First Management, Inc. is now hiring a full-time assistant property manager in Lawrence, Kansas. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, friendly, and have the ability to multi-task. The assistant property manager is responsible for all activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins and lease renewals, including generating and handling traffic, leasing apartments, qualifying prospects, preparing lease documentation and completing move-in procedures in accordance with company policies and procedures. We look to recruit highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals who enjoy working with others in a fast paced environment. A successful candidate should have proven sales and closing ability.

Position Description & Qualifications:

  • Provides high quality customer service to current and prospective tenants.
  • Demonstrates and leases apartments through use of effective selling techniques
  • This position is also responsible for complying with all state, federal and/or local laws relating to Fair Housing.
  • Candidates must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, solid interpersonal and computer skills.
  • Prior leasing experience preferred
  • Experience in customer service, marketing, and sales highly preferred
  • Problem solving abilities are required.
  • Time management skills are necessary.
  • Computer literacy in MS Word, e-mail and a familiarity with the Internet required.
  • Reliable transportation required.
  • Availability for weekend and holiday work required.
